This organisation is supported by a well financed and international energy company owning a number of sustainable coal assets across the Eastern Seaboard of Australia.
With continued investment they continue to grow their Australian coal business in the current climate developing new and existing mines sites and operations. Due to the expansion of one of their major assets we are now recruiting an underground mine engineer to support increased production and mine development. The present life of mine is significant and the position remunerates attractively based in a family friendly residential location.
In this role you will gain broad exposure to the technical side of mine operations supporting key functions in a technical capacity including ventilation systems maintenance, strata control maintenance, production planning and reporting as well as operations monitoring. You will form part of the medium sized Technical Services department reporting into and supporting the TSM with a competent team of engineers and seniors around you.
To be considered for this role you will be a qualified mine engineer with relevant underground coal experience. To be successful you will have had prior experience in operations support with ventilation, production and operations exposure highly desirable.
A desire to progress your career and further your technical exposure will also be highly regarded. The position remunerates well and is based in a residential location that is highly desirable with good local amenities, a medium sized town within driving distance to major regional centers and attractions.
