Senior Planning Engineer - Open cut - Kalgoorlie

In this role you will be tasked with developing and maintaining the life of mine plan for the operation you will also be heavily involved in the appraisal and development of long term projects.

You key duties will include but not limited to:

• Developing LOM plans
• Reviewing and signing off mine designs
• Optimising the mine layout, selection of equipment, mining sequence and pit development
• Designing the mine extraction sequence and planning mine development
• Contribute to ongoing communication between departments

To be considered for this role you must have the following:

• Degree qualified in Mining Engineering or related discipline
• 5 + years in a senior planning position
• Open pit experience
• Long term planning experience
• Knowledge of mine design software
