An opportunity now exists for Drill & Blast Supervisors within or Mining Department. These positions are on a 2:1 roster.
Reporting to the Site Manager/Alternate Manager you will be responsible for ensuring a high standard of productivity from the blast crew while maintaining a close working relationship with the Site Manager and assisting in the compliance of the safety & production standards.
Working towards continuous improvements you will review performances and practices to ensure optimum productivity and where applicable suggest changes to systems, procedures and work practices.
Duties would include but will not be limited to:
All appointments are subject to successful completion of a medical and drug and alcohol screen. Verification of all original certifications and qualifications must be provided.

An opportunity now exists for Drill & Blast Supervisors within or Mining Department. These positions are on a 2:1 roster.

- Comply with site safety practices and procedures
- Develop and implement efficient & effective methods & practices
- Overseeing the design, review and implementation of daily blasts
- Liaise with all different HR related issues from disciplinary, hiring to reviews of staff.
- Maintain a healthy relationship with the client at all times and be able to act in a professional manner no matter what the situation
- 3 to 5 years' Supervisory D&B experience
- WA Shot firers and Dangerous Goods Certificates
- Open Cut Mine experience
- Ability read & interpret mine plans
- Effectively communicate targets to Blast Crew
- Work under minimal supervision
