As our next Short Term Scheduling Engineer reporting to the Technical Service Manager you will work collaboratively towards delivering high-quality solutions and results.
This is a site based role operating on an 8 days on; 6 days off roster FIFO from Perth that will see you thrive on meeting all goals and challenges, and act with fairness and integrity in all that you do.

Some of your duties will include:
• Provide technical assistance in the development, implementation and control of short term project
schedules and provide guidance to the operation.
• Ensuring compliance with safety standards and practises.
• Contribute to the delivery of projects on time, within budget and safely.
• Design and implement short term mine schedules
• Contribute to development of project management plans through engineering planning and design
work.
• Ensure comprehensive records are established and maintained to assist decision making.
• Drive continuous operational improvement.
What skills and experience do you need?
· Tertiary qualification in mining engineering or equivalent
· Minimum 2 years experience in open cut mining
· Computer literacy – experience with Xpac and Xact will be highly regarded
· You will also need to possess a high regard for and practice health and safety at all times
