Production Engineer (Nickel) - FIFO from Perth
Reporting to the Senior Production Engineer - In a nutshell your primary role will be to extract the optimal amount of nickel ore meeting short to medium production targets, ensuring a maximum return to the business:
This is an excellent opportunity for a junior Production Engineer to cement their future and join a highly profitable Nickel Producer.
This role is based out of Perth on a FIFO roster (8/6), which also includes a generous salary and benefits package within a stable business, which supports its employees through an excellent management structure. Training and development is offered as well as advancement within the company.
The successful will have the following skills and qualifications:
- A tertiary qualification in Mining Engineering
- Underground Drill and Blast Experience
- Experience with Surpac and/or Datamine software packages
- Preferably you have done your underground time.

- Longhole drilling.
- Assisting with drill and blast pattern design and scheduling
- Ventilation
- Proficient and passionate about software packages
- To ensure that the production mining activities are executed within the context of short term and medium term mine plans in order to achieve the goals and targets as set out in those plans.
- Passion for Health and Safety.
