Mine Planning Engineer/Senior
Open Cut Residential
- Part of a 400 million dollar ramp up to boost reserves over the next ten years.
- Interesting reopened site, part integrated blending program
- Reporting directly to the Mine Planning Manager
- Short to medium term mine planning and scheduling
This role will also take on an alternative solutions function providing operational input on the site.
Essentially this is a leadership opportunity for a medium term planning engineer, working closely with a well respected life of mine planner in the hard rock industry. This relationship will provide strong mentorship and the opportunity to grow skills in life of mine planning yourself but essentially lead on the short and medium term functions.
- Normal 5/2 working week
- Full facilities in hospitals etc
- Excellent standard primary schools and high schools
- Population well over 20,000 ppl
- Under 100km from one of the finest coast lines in Australia- camping, fishing, boating lifestyle
Because of a high grade of ore and presold arrangements with China, this miner is in a strong position with a well planned recruitment strategy to grow the business steadily over the next five years. - B.Eng Mining
- Minimum of 4 years post graduate experience in the Australian mining industry
- 2 years+ Mine Planning/Scheduling experience
- Surpac will be highly regarded
