Senior Exploration Geologist
The junior company has an impressive asset base with a mix of currently producing assets and attractive exploration opportunities. It is about to embark on a new RC drilling campaign as well as an aggressive new ventures program.
To support this program, we are keen to hear from senior geologists with significant exploration and new venture evaluation experience. Travelling to site on an 8:6 roster, the role will involve producing a significant geological model determining the potential of the gold tenement. This will include implementing, researching and planning field programmes and leading small teams when required on a campaign style roster. The role will also involved

Geological logging, interpretation and modelling.
- Review previous modeling work and research work and document those portions of the work included in current geological modeling;
- Collating and validating exploration datasets used for 2D and 3D modeling;
- Manage relations to guarantee that Exploration information is well maintained and delivered;
- Managing all safety aspects of Exploration programmes on the relevant BHPB site, including running safety meetings, carrying out audits, and leading best-practice safety
- Managing QA/QC of sampling and undertaking geochemical interpretation.
I would be keen to hear from candidates with the following qualifications:
- Minimum BSc or equivalent, in Geology
- 3 + years' experience in Gold
- 5 years + exploration geology experience
- Working knowledge of Vulcan or Datamine or Leapfrog required
