Description
General Underground Laborers are expected to report to work on time as scheduled and assigned. They are required to complete job assignments in a safe and productive manner. The plant operations are 24/7, twelve months a year. New hires are assigned to a shift based on staffing needs.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Specific job responsibilites vary depending on daily assignments. Normal duties include:
* Filling in for equipment operators and other classified employees when they are absent
* Most manual labor around the operation
* Diversified job duties
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
* High School Diploma or GED preferred
* Minimum 6 Months Underground Experience, Must Be Certified Black Hat Miner
* Mine Foreman / Assistant Mine Foreman Certification preferred
