Our client is a world leader in their product class. This well established business owns a large production facility capable of producing large volumes of high quality fabricated product.

Job Description
Reporting directly to the Operations Manager, the role of Engineering Manager will have the following key responsibilities:

• Lead and motivate a small team of maintenance and project based individuals.
• Maximise the availability of equipment involved in the production of standardised and customised fabricated goods.
• Satisfy internal customers by delivering process improvements and maximising equipment efficiencies
• Help drive Lean manufacturing principles within the facility

The Successful Applicant
To be successful in this role you will possess the following qualifications and attributes:

• Trade certification and/or a degree in a relative discipline
• Strong demonstrable people management skills
• Previous experience of successful project implementation within a manufacturing environment
• Have an understanding of PLC’s, automation and CNC machinery
• Previous experience of successfully improving the O.E.E of production equipment
