Job Description
Reporting to the General Manager, you will direct and manage an experienced production team through strong leadership and coaching. In this role, you will draw heavily on your people management skills in driving towards production and quality targets. By utilising information technology and KPI management you will improve the manufacturing capability of the plant by implementing Continuous improvement and managing change to drive efficient scheduling within the facility. By doing this successfully you will exceed customer expectations for product delivery and quality.

The Successful Applicant
Looking for your first step into management or your next challenge as a Production Manager you will have the ability to drive and influence change within a Fabrication Workshop environment. Technical experience in a similar environment is essential as is the ability to motivate staff through training and mentoring. The successful candidate will lead from the front both technically and culturally by utilising their existing knowledge of Continuous Improvement, efficient scheduling and change management. The ability to work to relevant welding standards would also be highly desirable.
