Role Details;
Gold Fields Australia is currently seeking qualified Underground Electricians to join our Engineering team at Agnew Gold Mine.
Reporting to the Underground Maintenance Coordinator, you will be responsible for providing quality and timely preventative electrical maintenance and repairs to underground infrastructure and communications equipment associated with mining operations.
This role if offered on a roster of 8 days on 6 days off / 7 nights on 7 nights FIFO from Perth, WA.

Key responsibilities will include:
- Perform scheduled inspections, servicing, adjustments and troubleshooting of underground; infrastructure, mobile plant and communications systems;
- Maintain and repair equipment in a timely and efficient manner;
- Apply maintenance knowledge in order to minimise down time and production losses;
- Carry out administrative processing tasks associated with maintenance utilising SAP;
- Ensure all tasks are carried out according to health and safety standards to minimise risk of incidents and injury.
Key factors to your success include:
- Recognised WA Electrical Trade Qualification;
- "A" class electrical licence;
- Valid "C" class driver's license;
- Extensive experience in electrical maintenance of underground mining equipment/infrastructure;
- PLC, RCT, Paste Communications and Network Systems knowledge and experience;
- Experience working with communications systems.
