Job Description

The Role
- Be part of the Yahoo! News & Finance team with a special focus on the Yahoo! Finance site
- Ensure the Yahoo! Finance site in Germany is always up to date with the latest news from the financial world and fresh, valuable information for both finance experts and beginners
- Research and write articles and create slideshows for the Finance and News sites
- Provide ideas for unique content pieces: articles, slideshows or video
- Commission external providers and freelance writers to produce such content
- Check and proofread content delivered by external providers
- Manage relationship between various content providers and partners
- Promote the content of Yahoo! News and Finance in the best possible way using SEO techniques and social media
- Provide reports on success indicators
- Work with Product Management and Marketing team to identify user requirements and latest industry trends

Key Capabilities
· Significant experience of News and Finance journalism,
· Experience in online-journalism and internet production
· Previous experience in research and editing articles
· Degree holder preferably from disciplines of Journalism / Communication / Marketing
· Completed journalistic education (Volontariat or other qualification equal to that)
· Fluent in English, able to conduct discussions on complex topics with partners and colleagues from around the globe
