Job Description
This fast growing mid-tier chartered accounting firm is located in the heart of the CBD. They are a dynamic organisation that provides a challenging and stimulating work environment.
The tax department is seeking for a Supervisor/ Manager within Tax to join their busy team. You will be working directly with the Tax Partner and assisting a wide variety of corporate clients with their tax needs. You will be responsible for managing and completing taxation assignments for our diverse portfolio of clients ranging from mining, manufacturing, professional services to property and international clients.
To be considered for this role it is essential that you are fully up to date on all current legislation and have knowledge of the Australian Tax Law. You need to be able to communicate this to senior business clients and internal staff members. You will need to have tax consolidation experience and experience with ASX listed company tax reviews, preparing complex income tax returns, tax provision reviews and preparing tax notes for large listed companies. The role is made up of 70% consulting and 30% compliance work. Experiences with tax advisory and research skills are also advantageous. Ideally, you will be CA or part CA qualified and looking to complete your Masters of Taxation. You will need to have a minimum of 4 years tax experience.
