Job Description

We are currently seeking an experienced and talented Electrical Designer/Estimator reporting to the Design and Estimation Manager – Eastern Region in our Te Maunga Depot

Your main focus will be successfully managing major design and estimating projects in a smooth and cost effective manner. You will have well developed time management and leadership skills, which will help you to organise and prioritise jobs, people, and resources to fulfil client expectations.

Desired Skills & Experience

To be successful in this role you will ideally have relevant qualifications, preferably a Bachelors in Electrical Engineering or an NZCE with appropriate experience. You will also have a strong technical background in engineering with proven people management experience. Previous experience in the electricity, transmission and distribution industry including a working knowledge of the infrastructure contracting sector would be advantageous.
