Reliability Engineer – Oil & Gas

The Company:

My client is a global Oil & Gas producer with a number of large scale projects throughout Australia. My client is now making maintenance and reliability a key focus on all operations and is therefore looking to build a new team to sit within Asset Management focusing on maximising the life of the asset.

The role:

This role sits within the Asset Management division and is based in Perth. This is a newly created position which will allow a wide scope of work. This role is responsible for inspecting and analysing the current condition of a range of assets including subsea structures and formulating reliability and maintenance plans. You will be involved in creating business cases and recommendations to replace assets and will need strong commercial experience.

Your profile:

This position requires a candidate with a very specific level of experience including:

• A minimum of 5+ years working in the Oil & Gas sector
• Extensive RBI, RCM and RCA experience
• A relevant Engineering degree (mechanical, structural, reliability etc.)
• Proven commercial experience, ideally writing business cases for replacement of assets
• Experience advising senior stakeholders on the best maintenance strategies
• You must be based in Perth or able to relocate to Perth at short notice, this includes having working rights. My client is unable to sponsor for this position.
