We have been requested by one of our esteemed clients to provide them with Drilling Supervisors for their operations in Australia.
You must have the ability to demonstrate previous experience of at least 3- 5 years in the Oil and Gas Sector working at a senior level preferably in the Workover and Completions area.
Minimum requirements are:
Current IWCF Well Control ticket;
Diploma in Oil and Gas (Onshore), or in the process of completing;
Experience in workover and completions;
Cert IV OH&S;
Excellent communication skills both verbal and written; and
Strong decision maker.
Responsibilities include:
Ensuring compliance of rig and equipment;
Ensuring the safety of all personnel, contractors whilst on site;
Implementation of set programs;
Daily reporting of drilling activities;
Prepare well site plans such as casing running lists and cement calculations;
Co-supervise casing and cement jobs;
Supervise non-routine operations; and
Perform independent calculations to ensure technical validity and correctness of contractor's work.
