Our Client, a Gold & Copper Mining Company, urgently requires the following position:
HEAVY EQUIPMENT OPERATOR
Requirements :
- At least SMA education background or equivalent
- Qualified as a Operator for Heavy Equipment
- Extensive knowledge of Caterpillar equipment and other major manufactures
- At least 5 year experience in the field of Heavy Equipment Operator
- Able to operate some of Caterpillar Heavy Equipment such as :Dozer, Excavator, Dump Truck, Motor Grader, Roller Compactor and Wheel Loader
- Hold Driving License (SIM BII)
Responsibilities :
- Operate heavy equipment in a safe and effective manner in order to minimize the risk of injury, property damage or loss of life
- Operate all heavy equipment in a safe and efficient way according to all relevant legislation, policies and procedures
- Perform daily safety and maintenance checks
- Clean heavy equipment as scheduled and/or required
- Advise the Public Works Foreman of any requirements for maintenance or repairs
- Participate in routine maintenance
- Practice workplace safety
- Perform other related duties
