Senior Mine Engineer (Production) - FIFO ex Adelaide and East Coast

You will be working for a growing iron ore producer and be working on their exciting and high profile iron ore project in South Australia.

You will report through to the Mining Manager and be responsible for coordinating the daily production activities and liaising closely with the mining contractor. You will also be responsible for the development and ongoing improvement of the mine plan and schedule and ensure that all mine activities are conducted in accordance with the safety regulations. You will also utilise your experience to develop and mentor junior staff members.

In order to be eligible for shortlisting you MUST have the following experience:

• Degree in Mining Engineering or equivalent.
• 5+ years experience within an Open Pit mining environment (Iron Ore preferred)
• Proven experience in a similar position.?
• Excellent leadership and communication skills.
