Trainer & Assessors – Blast Hole Drillers

• 8/6 roster FIFO, ex Perth
• 4 – 6 months contract
• $52 per hour

About the Client

Our client is a registered organisation which specialises in drill & blast training for one of the industry’s largest iron ore producers.

MPi are currently seeking experienced Drill Trainers to join our client’s team in the Pilbara region.

About the Role

In this role, you will be responsible for the training and assessing of a team of Blast Hole Drillers, working with the Atlas Copco Pit Viper 271 drill rigs.

This position is offered on an 8/6 roster FIFO from Perth for a 4 – 6 month contract with the possibility of ongoing work after this period.

Whilst on site, you will be staying in an ensuite room with Foxtel and access to site facilities which include a gym, sports courts, recreation room, wet mess and dry mess. Mobile coverage is provided with Telstra and internet access is available at site.

To be considered
The successful candidate MUST hold a current HR Drivers Licence, Certificate in Training & Assessing (Cert IV TAE 40110) and 3 years blast hole drilling experience with a minimum of 12 months training experience.

• You will hold a passion for training and safety.
• You will be confident in delivering this training package & applying your site experience in both a field and classroom environment to a large group.
• You will have extensive knowledge with the operation of the Pit Viper and other rotary drill rigs.

Perth based residents are encouraged to apply as before you can proceed to site, you will be required to initially work from our client’s north suburbs office to familiarise yourself with the package and complete 5 days of inductions at a training centre.
