Job Description

We are looking for a strong Business Analyst to serve the liaison between the customer and the Amdocs solution teams in a large and complex BSS project for our project in Jakarta, Indonesia

The Business Analyst works closely with the customer, the on-site and the off-site team and the management to identify and document business requirements, produce high level solutions proposals and design, specify logical operations of how the system will perform and the way the users will interact with the system in the complete life cycle of the Change Request.

The Business Analyst must be excellent communicator, tactful diplomat, problem solver and out of the box thinker – with the ability to understand and respond to customer and business needs in rapidly changing business environments.

Key Activities

• Work collaboratively with external and internal stakeholders such as solution developers, end users to ensure technical compatibility and user satisfaction
• Identify options and develop specific proposals for potential solutions and assess them from both technical and business suitability
• Analyze, extract, interpret and document business requirements, manage conflicting requirements and work timely to aggressive miles stones
• Provide consultancy on software development best practice, including configuration management, change control and test strategies
• Ensure that actions are and updated completed in accordance with planned and agreed timelines
• Identify and escalate project risks and issues in a timely manner
• Participate, facilitate and lead customer feedback sessions
• Develop effective working relationships with peers, internal and external stakeholders to achieve solution objectives
• Perform any other activities, as requested by the project management to support the definition, development and implementation of solutions

Desired Skills & Experience

Requirements

• University degree in IT / Computer Science / Engineering or equivalent
• Holding Indonesia working rights
• Minimum of 5 years working experience working as a Business Analyst, preferably in a Telecommunications environment in software development and deployment projects.
• At least one of: Domain knowledge in Telecommunications
  (Online Charging, Billing, Service Fulfillment or Service Assurance)
• Technical knowledge of and experience with Amdocs software preferably
• Quick learner as person is expected to learn the Amdocs Products
• Experience of customer-facing work including presentations to a technical audience; able to work confidently in the customer environment
• Very good presentation skills both written and spoken (English) combined with ability to facilitate and present technical and business information at workshops
• Capable of strategic and tactical thinking and proposing solution tradeoffs to meet Customer requirements
