We are seeking a Safety, Health and Environment (SHE) Manager to join our Blacktown factory in this hands on role, your overall objective will be the improvement and implementation of relevant best practices for safety, health and environment. As the site’s subject matter expert you will lead and be involved in all areas throughout the SHE space. You will promote site initiatives leading to continuous improvement in SHE performance in line with the Nestle Continuous Excellence mindset of zero injuries and illnesses.

The key to this role will be your ability to provide coaching and support to managers and employees, so your exceptional relationship building skills combined with your collaborative attitude towards others will position you well to succeed in this role. You will have the ability to communicate openly and frankly, and take pride in all you do in contributing to the reputation and the performance of the SHE function and the organisation. The role will also see you manage workers compensation matters, working closely with both internal and external stakeholders, in accordance with relevant regulations and legislations.

Previous professional experience across injury management, safety, health and environmental areas, ideally within a manufacturing environment will be essential. Relevant tertiary qualification and experience of LEAN manufacturing will be highly regarded but it will be your demonstrated ability to manage change and deliver results through others by utilising your excellent communication and leadership skills that will see you succeed in the role.
