Pipeline Engineers

My client is a major pipeline contractor working on various pipeline projects throughout Australia working closely with large oil & gas, energy and mining companies. Due to their current influx of pipeline projects they are looking to recruit pipeline engineers (Construction) for a gas project in Queensland

The duties of the Pipeline Engineer include:

• Supervising contractors along with providing engineering support and expertise during project construction phase
• Providing technical support to all construction personnel
• Coordinating the effective transfer of piping engineering data and information between Client, Contractors, and Subcontractors
• Ensuring scope of works are delivered on time
• Reporting on cost control and planning

The requirements of the Pipeline Engineer include:

• Degree in mechanical engineering or related discipline
• A minimum of 3-5 years experience working on the construction of major pipeline projects
• Strong technical knowledge
• Previous experience working on oil and gas projects
• Strong knowledge of pipeline engineering codes and standards
• High attention to detail with excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Candidates must have the right to live and work in Australia.

There is an excellent remuneration package available to the successful candidate.
