This a great opportunity to work with a gold mining organisation within the processing team.
This mining client is a well recognised underground gold organisation. They are focused on meeting their production and recovery targets as safely and efficiently as possible. Due to a change in the team, they are currently recruiting a plant metallurgist with strong experience in gold.
The key responsibilities of this role includes monitoring and reporting on the plants metallurgical performance. You'll provide technical support to the production team ensuring the company achieves budgeted gold output. You'll analyse operating costs and make suggestions where cost savings can be achieved. Finally, you'll provide technical training and awareness programs to site personnel and actively promote continuous improvement.
As the successful applicant you will have a good foundation in Gold CIL processing and will have a degree in metallurgy or related subject. You'll have excellent communication skills both verbal and written in addition to first rate analytical skills which can be utilised in data management systems.
