Safety Superintendent - Shaft Sinking
Our client is a top tier mining house with both open pit and underground operations worldwide across a variety of commodities. Working on their flagship underground construction project in Central Asia, they require an experienced Safety Superintendent to oversee the HSE aspect of underground mining activities such as tunnel development, ramp development and shaft sinking.
Reporting to: Underground Construction Manager
Responsibilities:
* Manage and Enforce HSE Systems and Programs in line with Company Standards
* Ensure Accident Free Workplace
* Promote HSE Initiatives
* Manage Incident Reporting
* Oversee National Employees
Qualifications and Requirements
* OHS or Similar Degree or Diploma
* Over 10 Years Safety Experience in an Underground Environment
* Expatriate Experience will be Highly Regarded
* Strong Mentoring and Training of National Staff
* Exposure to Remote Locations and Extreme Temperatures will be Highly Regarded
