Job Description

Working in the Barcelona office and participating in the development of embedded and PC software applications and drivers that support our system on chip development and release.

Support customers to develop their own software applications based on ours.

The following skills and experiences are required:-

· 3-5 years of object-oriented programming experience, using C/C++
· Demonstrable programming experience in real time embedded software development environments:
o MIPS/ARM/SPARC or other platform
o eCOS and/or embedded Linux
· Direct programming experience of GUI based applications on Windows platform
· Direct programming experience on Linux/Unix: GCC/GDB toolchain, cross compilation
· Programming experience of driver development on windows/linux
· Knowledge/experience of low level networking protocols e.g. TCP/IP including IPv6, DNS, DHCP, SSL, SNMP, MLD, IGMP
· Knowledge of one or several scripting languages (bash, python)

The following skills are an asset to have:

· Experience of TR69 CWMP management software
· Experience of powerline modem applications
· Experience with USB protocol and drivers
· Functional hardware experience: bench testing, oscilloscope/logic analyser
