SOCIO-ENVIRONMENTAL MANAGER

JOB DESCRIPTION :

1. Support General Manager to manage the socio-environmental programmes, such as : Influx Migration Management, Ecosystems Services, Biodiversity Offset Programmes, Forest Management Plan, Disclosure processes (AMDAL, ESHIA etc), Social aspect in the ongoing impact assessment (ESHIA IFC PS 2012 update, Additional ESHIA, etc.), Routine monitoring report of social indicators to relevant institution (MIGA, Government Bodies), Environmental Communication.
2. Support the department’s relations with the Indonesian Authorities, International NGOs, Universities, Research Partners and other relevant bodies
3. Support and work closely with the other Environmental Managers
4. Coordination with other Company Departments (External Relations, CSR)
5. Support to the management, including coaching and mentoring, of designated environmental experts and other staff
6. Administration (Human resource management and budget management) of designated programmes

QUALIFICATION :

• S2 / Masters in socio-environmental management, impact assessment and or socio-environmental sciences
• 10 years minimum experience in environmental position within Mining industry, Consulting, NGO, or Research
• Good at project management,
• Mentoring Skills
• Good networking & relational skills
• Strong written and spoken English
