Service Engineer or Technician (Merseburg, Germany)

Your tasks:
• software, hardware and network support of process control systems on Windows computers
• Internal engineering support, internal tests
• Installation and commissioning at the customer
• Upgrade and repair of existing equipment (hardware / software), and system maintenance
• Analysis of malfunctions, diagnoses and repairs of equipment and systems
• elaboration of improvement concepts and accompanying measures

Desired Skills & Experience

Your qualifications:
• Master of Engineering / Science or engineers with a focus on information and communication technology
• Experience in computer and network topologies
• Advantageous skills are in process control
• Good knowledge and skills in information technology (IT)
• Programming and operating system knowledge (Windows)
• (Technical) English, spoken and written
• Customer Focus
• High level of commitment, initiative and ability to work independently
• assertiveness, excellent communication skills and a confident manner
• Willingness to travel
• readiness for on-call service (24/7)
