Job Description

ORGANISATION:
Your role is to provide leadership and develop the Indonesian assembly plant. You will report to the Managing Director based in Singapore and will also be sitting in the organization’s Board of Directors for Indonesia.


YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:
Your main responsibilities will be to manage the company resources and to carry out the objectives as per the business strategy and economic profitability guidelines:

• Plant Management: Manage and develop the assembly facility to achieve operational excellence.
• Plant Expansion: Participate in the building of a new plant and manage the entire transition process.
• Procurement: Direct and guide the procurement practice in the plant from multiple suppliers in the region.
• Business Management: Formulate company objectives and strategies in line with the overall group strategy.
• People and Performance Management: Lead, develop and motivate a team to ensure that budget and production deadlines are met.
• P&L: Manage the growth of the organisation with a constant focus on high profitability.

Desired Skills & Experience

THE PROFILE:


• Degree in Engineering or Science. Masters in Engineering or MBA is desirable.
• Plant management or production management experience is a must (minimum of 5 years). Preferably in industrial / machinery products.
• Understanding of procurement / supply chain management is essential.
• Experience in multinational companies (MNCs) with matrix structure is a must.
• Independent and efficient manager, who is able to deliver results according to plan.
• Prior experience of working in Indonesia, managing a team of local managers and worker; or ability to adapt in the Indonesian working environment.
• Fluency in English is a requirement and ability to converse in Bahasa Indonesia will be an advantage.
• Able to travel regularly in the region and occasionally to Europe.
