Job Description

We are currently seeking an experienced Project Controls Professional with a strong planning background to join our Adelaide office.

The nature of the role is to provide Project Controls capability to support our current projects and upcoming opportunities in South Australia as well as providing cover for general planning and scheduling across the ANZ region.

Your responsibilities will include:
  • Maintaining project schedules, assisting with progress and performance reporting, and identifying causes and assessments of schedule changes
  • Calculating timeline changes and Earned Value Analysis
  • Schedule baseline development and reporting for the project
  • Managing the incorporation of contract and other 3rd party schedules into the integrated master schedule
  • Assisting in establishing project-specific procedures for the Project Controls function comprising all scheduling functions
  • Preparing Critical Path Networks showing the sequence and timing of individual project activities to conform to the Baseline Schedule
  • Project cost management functions including cost control, trending, change management and forecasting
  • Tracking original and current budgets, forecasts, commitments and expenditures of projects
You will ideally possess:
  • Formal qualifications in Engineering, Science or other relevant discipline
  • Extensive knowledge and experience in Project Controls in an EPCM environment
  • Solid understanding and demonstrated knowledge of Primavera Planning Systems (P6)
  • Strong Microsoft Project Experience and advanced Excel skills
  • Exceptional time management skills with an organised and structured approach to the tasks at hand
  • The ability to display a high regard for safety and quality
  • Experience working with Prism and/or Oracle would be highly regarded
The successful candidate will have the ability to rapidly absorb and understand projects whilst liaising directly with the internal stakeholders to ensure that the processes and systems are implemented in an accurate and timely manner.
