Job Description


We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Principal Safety Engineer within ourPerth Team to take their next career step. This position, reporting to the Safety Manager will involve:

Responsibilities:
  • Work from concept, FEED or Detailed Design on onshore or offshore oil and gas industry projects
  • Develop HSE Plans including SOW, CTRs & schedule
  • Overseeing the work of other safety team members
  • Producing formal safety assessment deliverables including HAZID, FERA, QRA, ESSA, EERA, TRIA, SGIA, bow-ties, MAH, ALARP and RAM studies
  • Chair technical workshops

Desired Skills & Experience

Requirements

  • Tertiary Qualifications in a related discipline
  • Previous experience working as a Lead Safety Engineer from Concept, FEED or Detailed Design on onshore or offshore oil and gas projects
  • Previous experience in loss prevention and HAZOP/Workshop chairing
  • Postgraduate degree or Chartered status advantageous
