Job Description
- Ensure the integrity and reliability of the offshore facilities regarding all rotating Electrical and Instrumentation systems are maintained to the required standards in order to maximise the facilitates uptime.
- Provide engineering and maintenance support for all Electrical and Instrument reliability and integrity for the facilities, in accordance with the safety case and company policies.
- Assist Senior Electrical and Instrumentation engineer to support to OIOM(s) and Production Manager to ensure that daily operations are conducted in compliance with all Company, Statuary and Joint venture requirements.
- Oversee all major Electrical and Instrumentation engineering related studies and works carried out on facilities
- Coordinate the activities of external engineering and other support services for major maintenance activities shutdown campaign and all technical spares procurement together with the system upgrade.
- Responsible and overseeing third party performance in the conducting of all major Electrical and Instrumentation engineering related studies and works carried out on facilities.
- Assist Senior Electrical and Instrumentation engineer for any engineering changes request fit for service to ensure the plant reliability, integrity and safety.
- Operate in compliance with and according to the directions, standards, policies, procedures and methods stipulated by the company and these may vary from time to time.
- Contribute to the most cost efficient and economic recovery of reserves whilst recognising the safety of personnel, protection of the environment and integrity of the personnel as paramount.
- Assist Senior Electrical and Instrumentation engineer for cost estimates, subcontractor selection and management
- Participate in onshore Emergency Response Group
Desired Skills & Experience
- Bachelor degree in Electrical, Instrumentation, Control Engineering
- 7 years relevant experience in Electrical and Instrument in Oil and Gas operation, consultation or facilities support roles especially in DCS, SIS and field instrument.
- Comprehensive/Advance computer user skills: including MS Excel, MS Word, MS Access, MS PowerPoint
- Must show initiative and be able to work with the minimal supervision, use and adhere to deadlines
- Good planning skills to manage and priortise work load
- Must demonstrate a high level of confidentially and business ethics.
- Experience with using Maximo, or any other industry’s computerized Maintenance Management System.
