Job Description

Our client is a leading oil and gas consultancy specialising in a range of offshore projects, they are currently searching for an operations project manager to work both in theirPerth, Western Australian office as well travel offshore on an ad hoc basis. Due to the award of a large number of projects, as well existing projects and with a strong specialization in their field, the company is going through a tremendous stage of growth. To be suitable for these roles you must have a minimum of 10 years experience in an operations role as a project manager in the offshore oil and gas industry. Relocation and sponsorship is offered for this role and overseas candidates are highly encouraged to apply.

Desired Skills & Experience

• Previous experience as Senior Project Manager / Operations Manager in the offshore oil and gas industry.
• Exposure to a range of offshore projects and a solid understanding of the management of teams for operating and maintaining offshore equipment.
• Experience with the planning of both offshore personnel and equipment including the ability to lead, mentor and motivate staff .
• Outstanding communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills with a proven history of developing and maintaining key client relationships.
• Continuously monitor work flow practices to ensure that the highest standards of quality assurance are adhered to all times
• A commitment to the highest standards of health and safety and ensuring that these processes are implemented and are adhered to at all times.
