Position Description:SunGard's solutions for corporate liquidity help businesses facilitate connectivity across the ecosystem of buyers, suppliers, banks, data providers and other stakeholders to increase visibility of cash, improve communication and response time, reduce risk and help drive maximum value from working capital. An end-to-end, collaborative financial management framework helps chief financial officers and treasurers bring together receivables, treasury and payments for a single view of cash and risk and optimize business processes for enhanced liquidity management.

At SunGard we are looking for an experienced Technical Consultant to join the TRAX Professional Services team. The successful candidate will deliver high quality payments-related consulting services to clients that cover all technical aspects of an AvantGard TRAX implementation. This encompasses detailed design, development or configuration and unit testing of assigned TRAX implementation tasks. In the Lead role, this will include the provision of guidance and stewardship of all other allocated technical consultants in all areas of their work.

Key Duties:
• Promote a culture of excellence, quality and professionalism through the use of standardised configuration and development techniques.
• Work closely together with the project team, and where applicable the client on all aspects of an AvantGard TRAX implementation
• Provide project team with workable and fully documented deliverables
• Capability to translate requirements to deliver against standard product wherever possible
• Maintain focus on delivering quality solutions, on time and to budget
• Ensure all administrative requirements are performed and delivered within the required deadlines

Position Requirements:• Extensive experience with developing JAVA J2EE applications; using XML and other industry standard tools and frameworks; relational database structures.
• Minimum of 5 years hands-on JAVA/J2EE programming experience in projects is a must
• Experience with Agile et Daily scrum methodologies
• Good interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build and maintain strong client relationships
• Comprehensive understanding of AvantGard Trax
• Good team player showing relevant experience in a previous project team environment; preferably in the financial industry.
• Good problem solving, issue resolution and change management skills
• Languages:
o English & French: very good knowledge is mandatory
o German/Dutch: good knowledge of an additional language is preferred
