QHSE (Quality, Health, Safety & Environment) Advisor (10084)


Job Description

We are currently seeking a QHSE (Quality, Health, Safety and Environment) Advisor to work with our client who is a provider of specialist construction services to the offshore and subsea sector. This client is a growing force in the construction and installation arena, having grown from the merger and acquisition of a number of smaller companies. 
 
You will support the QHSE Manager, implementing, developing and maintaining all QHSE procedures, policies, work instructions and risk assessments. Developing strong relationships with clients, industry bodies and authorities, you will implement safe systems of work to cover all offshore operations; promoting a culture of safety and continuous improvement. Continued implementation of the quality management system in accordance with ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and HAAS 18001 will be part of your remit as will the development, implementation and promotion of all matters pertaining quality, health, safety and safe working practices.
 

The successful applicant will have hands-on QHSE experience working within the demanding offshore oil and gas, subsea or offshore renewables industry. You will have worked in a similar advisory role overseeing all matters relating to QHSE practices.  Experience of CDM regulations would be a distinct advantage.
 
Joining our client as a staff member, you will receive a basic salary of up to £50k together with additional staff benefits package. As the role is based in Aberdeen, we expect you will currently live in the area. You must be able to demonstrate you right to live and work in the UK.
