Job Description

We are currently seeking an experienced IT Business Analyst Team Leader who has strong technical skills combined with a passion for developing and mentoring staff.Reporting directly to the Application Services Manager, you will provide leadership to the business analyst function, ensuring sufficient software development BA capability and implementing best practice through continuous improvement.

Desired Skills & Experience

Key activities will include:
  • Providing day to day leadership to a team of 7 Business Analysts
  • Driving continuous improvement and implementation of best practice BA standards and practises within an Agile setting
  • Working directly with our clients to discover requirements and negotiate scope and solutions
  • Assist in the design and documentation of software solutions
  • Represent our interests at key industry forums
  • Working closely with the Release Manager, Development Team Lead, and Test Team Lead to ensure successful delivery of software projects

To be considered in this role you will have:
  • Previous experience in a senior/team lead role, ideally following Agile development practises.
  • Strong team leader skills – mentoring, coaching, influencing, negotiation, motivating, conflict ‎resolution and teamwork
  • Excellent communication skills and an ability to work collaboratively and build relationships with key internal and external stakeholders
Your proven understanding and implementation of good business analysis practice,standards and methodologies, and your capability in leading and mentoring a small team will ensure success in this role.
