Job Description

An exciting opportunity exists for an experienced National Account Executive to join the Foodservice Sales team at our Rhodes Head Office. This role is responsible for ensuring profitable growth through developing customer plans for the Foodservice market in NSW, alongside exploring and executing key new business opportunities.

Key accountabilities include:

• The delivery of sales and gross margin targets within the designated Foodservice customer base;
• Effective management of over and above trade spend activity;
• Establishing business forecasts and objectives for customers within key Foodservice channels;
• Identifying opportunities to support ongoing sales growth in Franchised and Bakery chains and other key channels within the market;
• Working closely with customers to identify key requirements and develop strategic growth plans;
• Developing industry knowledge of the Foodservice market and end user networks to further business growth;
• Monthly reporting against business performance targets; and
• Reporting to the wider business on the foodservice performance against targets.

Desired Skills & Experience

The successful candidate will possess:

• Commercial experience gained in a state based account or customer management role, preferably within the FMCG industry;
• A proven track record of achieving business growth within a customer base;
• Superior analytical, conceptual and presentation skills;
• A strong commercial acumen with the ability to forge cross functional relationships across the business;
• A self-managed, motivated and energetic approach to customers;
• Solid communication, influencing and negotiation skills; and
• Tertiary qualifications in business, marketing or a related discipline would be highly regarded.
