• Position suited to experienced FMCG Planner / Buyer

The Senior Planner is responsible for delivering quality master supply plans to the business which balances demand (service levels) with supply (available inventory and resources) for all products.
This position will work cross functionally to manage the flow of inventory through the business ensuring that product is available at the right place at the right time to meet the requirements of the demand plan and our service level objectives. Additionally: this position is accountable for driving continuous improvement of the planning process and contributing to any specific projects or activities.

Snapshot of duties & responsibilities:

• Liaise with internal Supplier Integration, Site Factory and site based Planning teams to ensure latest information regarding supply is gathered and communicated to Sales team
• Participate in the company S&OP process
• Manage Inventory Excess stock sell off/or write off
• Manage Customer Service Level reporting
• Development and continuous improvement of the planning and buying processes

To be successful in the role you will have:

• A minimum of 3 years demonstrated production planning and scheduling experience
• Drive for accuracy and detail
• Experience using ERP software
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel
• Significant experience in a fast moving, manufacturing environment, preferably food or other short shelf life items
• Goal orientated with the ability to keep others on track
