We are looking for a Project Engineer with a Chemical Engineering background to take small to medium projects to completion across site. Reporting to the Project Engineering Manager, your key deliverables will include:

The selected individual will be responsible for the following efforts:

• Leading engineering projects to ensure achievement of time, cost and performance targets, in line with Company objectives
• Detailing the specifications for industrial chemical processes and plant
• Providing technical support to the Engineering team, supporting the safe operation of the site, including the use of industry standard risk assessment techniques, issuing and controlling safe systems of work permits
• Managing third party contractors as required during projects
• Updating and reporting of key environmental data to support site operational permit

Desired Skills & Experience

Qualifications:

You will be qualified in a chemical engineering degree or equivalent, with experience of working in a similar position within a manufacturing or process environment. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are required.
A good working knowledge of Autocad or Inventor CAD including P&ID and of industry standard risk assessment techniques (HAZOP, LOPA) will be advantageous.

Candidates must be eligible to work in the United Kingdom.
