- Senior Estimating role for a leading Mining Contractor; key performer in the open pit space both domestically and through Asia/Pacific.
- Find alternative solutions for clients; maximise site efficiencies/production while minimising costs.
- Apply your recognised problem solving ability developed through your ‘on the tools’ site experience.
- Contract extension projects, variations, optimisation methodologies. Identify project targets for tender and tender preparations.
- Sit under a Manager at the top of his game who will groom you towards a Project Manager role. This position will be the ideal preparation, giving the holistic financial acumen needed to run a site.
- Currently have 8 projects across Aus, with more in the pipeline, across metals and coal. Transfer into a Management role within the group or progress within the Estimating team.
- Get exposure to latest technologies and innovations in the industry. Best of breed can be applied when moving back to a site role.
- City based, limited site travel. Highly competitive salary packaging, especially on a city based role.
Requirements: a BEng in Mining, a minimum of 6-9 years’ experience, preferably within a mining contractor, and strong operational experience.
