Our client is a leading Australian mining company. They have a requirement for a contractDrill and Blast Supervisor that has a proven track record in supervising drill and blast surface activities and has experience managing a fleet of top hole and rotary drill rigs.

Your key responsibilities in this role will be to supervise day to day drill and blast activities. You will also be responsible for ensuring safe work practices are carried out at all times.

In addition you will ideally possess the following qualifications and skills:

• Relevant WA Drill and Blast qualifications and tickets
• 4+ years experience at a Drill and Blast Supervisor level in Mining
• Strong understanding of operational site procedures and responsibilities in WA mining industry
• Proven experience managing blasting crews
• Professional interpersonal and communication skills
• Sound computer literacy skills
