Oil & Gas Development Manager (m/f) - Alfa Laval- Hamburg Area, Germany

Job Description

for our Engineering & Supply Team in Europe (location can be discussed, prefered is Germany (Glinde next to Hambourg), Denmark, Sveden)
We are looking for a high level manager with a strong background in project business finance, a capability to be both operationally involved and strategically orientated, a leadership that develops and releases the potentials of people, and a person with passion and drive to engage and influence our development. Main Purpose:
  • Act as Oil & Gas Advisor for multiple engineering sites
  • Improve engineering sites competences for Oil & Gas projects (trainings, support, best practice)
  • Quotation generation/ support
Key Tasks:
  • Generate and maintain knowledge platform on industry standards
    - NORSOK, classification societies, such as DNV, BV, ABS, ISO, BSI, API etc. as well as Key Customer Standards (e.g. Petrobras, Statoil, Petronas)
  • Assist Engineering & Supply sites in sales and project execution:
    - Evaluation/ interpretation of customer specifications
    - Deviation Lists
    - Non-Conformity handling
  • Work as Quotation Engineer on Oil & Gas projects
Competence & Experience:
  • Senior Person with engineering background
  • 8 + years experience within Oil & Gas industry
  • Broad experience base - customers, countries, standards
  • Fluent in English, further languages (e.g. German, Portugese) are advantageous
  • Open minded to other cultures
  • Willingness to travel (worldwide)
