Our client is one of the UK's largest insulation services providers. Formed in 1973, they work with home owners, construction firms, local authorities, housing associations, registered social landlords and energy suppliers to reduce the UK's carbon footprint. An exciting opportunity has now arisen for a Heating Manager to join their team.
This is the ideal role for a qualified Gas Safe engineer looking to take the next step in their career by joining a national leading company. The successful candidate will be pivotal in the success of a new division within the business and will have the opportunity to make a real impact on the future growth of the organisation.
As the Heating Manager, you will be responsible for the set up of a new heating division, in line with our client's already long established insulation operations.
Leading your division, you will recruit installation teams and play a key role in the development of new staff. Establishing the Heating Team, you will provide effective and ongoing training covering both surveying and heating installation.
You will manage customer expectations in regards to project timeframes and budgets on both a domestic and commercial basis, as well as implementing efficient procedures for stock control.
To be considered for this role, you must:
- Have knowledge of gas systems, preferably LPG and oil
- Be Gas Safe registered
- Be BPEC CCN1 Qualified
As the Heating Manager, you must possess excellent communication and leadership skills, coupled with the ability to develop, motivate and inspire a team. Methodical and self-motivated, you must possess a sharp attention to detail and superb problem solving abilities.
A City and Guilds Level 2 qualification would be beneficial to your application, as would experience of working on the Government's previous Warm Front scheme.
