12 month contract – Site Based Role on 21/7 Roster

As the Completions Engineer – Gathering Implementation your duties will include but are not limited to responsibility for the coordination of Gathering Implementation Completion Documentation including Construction WorkPacks and other construction related documents to ensure compliance with contract requirements and suitability for implementation in completion related activities. Furthermore, you will effectively monitor the readiness for Systems Handover and report progress to the Project Manager in terms of activity, including significant milestones and any conditions which may affect project cost, schedule, quality, timelines and budgets. In-line with this you will regularly review project programs to ensure project expectations and performance criteria are met. You will also assist in the development of technical specifications, procedures and risk mitigation strategies, to ensure construction performance suffers minimum impact from risk events. Finally, you will support project interfaces between Gathering Implementation, APLNG, Origin, suppliers, vendors as well as subcontractors and have responsibility for all aspects of site management.
To be successful in this role you will possess an engineering degree from a recognised tertiary institution and eligible for registration as a professional engineer. Supplementing this qualification will be a minimum ten years experience in the oil and gas or construction industry within a project environment. Furthermore, you will have demonstrated experience in Commissioning, Pre-commissioning, Project Handover, and interfacing with contractors on site during fabrication, installation and testing. Finally, a strong understanding of the regulatory approvals process, project specifications, standards and associated international codes and practices will be highly regarded.
