The role of Manager, Asset Management & Reliability, at our Golden Grove operation in Western Australia represents a unique opportunity for an asset management professional with a proven track record in leading a maintenance and engineering function to deliver exceptional results. As a key member of the site leadership team, you’ll not only embed a site-wide reliability culture and ensure the delivery of best-in-class maintenance services, but also be involved in a variety of strategic programs designed to enhance Golden Grove’s value.

Holistic in approach, you’ll be the type of maintenance professional who builds strong relationships across departments and engages everyone in operating and maintaining for reliability. You’ll be strategically and commercially astute, and focused on delivering a cost effective, benchmark, service to the operation. Taking a whole-of-life view of the asset fleet you’ll maintain a focus on critical activities and capital projects that drive value. Not only challenging your engineering and commercial acumen, this role will bring your people leadership skills to the fore. As such, a history of implementing people management practices, including talent identification and development, will need to be demonstrated.

For this position, MMG is offering an 8/6/4/3/4/3 FIFO roster from Perth or Geraldton, with airline salary sacrifice options for employees choosing to reside elsewhere in Western Australia. Remuneration includes competitive salary and annual performance bonus. Other benefits include paid industry association memberships, post-graduate study subsidies and a purchased annual leave program. Full relocation assistance is available to preferred interstate or overseas candidates.

Desired Skills & Experience

This role is particularly suited to an Asset Management professional looking to broaden their operational management experience by being exposed and involved to other aspects of the mining value chain. To be considered, you’ll hold a relevant engineering qualification and demonstrate extensive experience in asset management and capital project engineering for both fixed and mobile plant. Post graduate qualifications in Maintenance Management, Business or comparable discipline will be highly regarded.
