Senior Gating and Compliance Analyst

Job Description

Our client who is a leading Oil and Gas company are currently looking for a Senior Gating / Compliance Analyst to work in Edmonton on a Permanent basis.



Key Responsibilities:

* Support the development of all gating presentation materials and monthly reporting and participates in the stage gate reviews required for all approvals throughout the lifecycle of each project.

* Responsible for leading the development of key deliverables such as the Follow On Stage Gate, Lessons Learned, etc.

* Works closely with the entire project team to ensure alignment.

* Works closely with Project Management Office (PMO) to roll out new deliverables, standards and processes to the team.

* Monitor project commitments made and conditions placed on the team by various legislative bodies / stakeholders.

* Manage a Compliance Tracking Record (CTR) to ensure all requirements are included and proactively track the execution and verify compliance assertions.

* Facilitate compliance package reviews for a Major Capital Project.

* Ensure there is a recovery plan for incomplete compliance sign-off deliverables and records within project risk register.

Desired Skills & Experience

The Ideal candidate must have:

* A degree with a minimum of 7 to 10 years of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

* Must be a proactive self starter and have high attention to detail.

* Excellent written and oral communication skills with the ability to respond to and anticipate information needs and present that information in a clear concise manner.

* Ability to effectively prioritize a heavy workload, bringing forward well developed recommendations to the Project Management Team.

* Must be able to work with a team dispersed over multiple locations
