Job Description

This is an exciting leadership opportunity in our PC Client Group (Ultrabook), a significant revenue contributor for Intel. This position will report into the GM Advanced Client FFRD. You will be responsible to lead a team across multiple geographies and expected to deliver complete system solutions which drive new innovative technologies into form factor designs which result in new user experiences. These designs will be the foundation for new and exciting products for Intel’s partners to then deliver to their customers. This position requires prospective candidate to have experience and a very good understanding of system hardware, firmware and software as well as strength in system architecture, integration, test, and validation. The successful candidate will understand the entire system development lifecycle. They will also have a keen understanding of the manufacturing process and have the ability to work with leading design and manufacturing firms.

This is a leadership role that requires excellent strategic acumen and ability to take ideas to reality by working with execution teams within Intel. A qualified candidate has to be able to drive and execute a complete program, successfully deliver new user experiences, deliver complete reference systems, and generate critical new technology IP for Intel. This individual is also a change agent, having demonstrated an ability to drive change which has resulted in new value and market leadership. Addition, this person has be have an ability to drive cross functionally, across multiple disciplines and departments in a large company. Lastly, they need to have demonstrated leadership in selecting, building and developing strong innovation driven organizations.

Desired Skills & Experience

- minimum of 15 years of System Design and Development experience or equivalent.
- Proven track record of leading global system development teams and have at least 2 or 3 very successful products in the market that she/he have led.
- Experience working with ODMs.
- People management experience
- Degree in Engineering

Preferred:
Experience with different products across a few companies is preferred. Knowledge of user experience differences and challenges in different markets is a plus. Experience with notebook or tablet products is highly desired.
