You will be working with some of the top names in the Android and mobile development space to help them develop incredible apps. In this role, you will combine your unbridled enthusiasm and aptitude for mobile apps with your unmatched ability to build relationships with key industry influencers. You must have hands-on experience with mobile app development, along with experience with Android and games - ideally both!

Your broad responsibilities will include owning technical engagements and ultimate success around specific implementation projects. You will also be responsible for documenting best practices that can be used by other developers. The ideal candidate will possess excellent customer skills that will allow them to represent the Amazon Appstore for Android well within our user’s environment and drive discussions with senior technical leaders, as well as a technical background that enables them to easily interact and give guidance to software developers and architects. They should also have a demonstrated ability to think strategically about business, product, and technical challenges.

• 4+ years of mobile industry experience in technical roles
• 2+ years experience in evangelizing technologies and building / maintaining developer relations
• Bachelors degree in engineering, computer science or a related technical field
• Intermediate proficiency in one or more coding and/or scripting languages and its development environment.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Track record in organizing and hosting developer events or workshops
• Existing portfolio of social media, ideally in a technical market segment
• Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical individuals
• Experience evangelizing and educating developers as customers
• Proven ability to build and maintain high-level industry relationships (with C-level executives, VPs, and directors)
• Hands on development experience or full understanding of mobile app development pipeline and process
• Track record for being detail-oriented with a demonstrated ability to self-motivate and follow-through on projects
• Strong problem-solving skills; the ability to analyze problems and develop actionable and appropriate tactical plans quickly
• Ability to succeed in a fast-paced, innovative, and rapidly evolving industry and business organization
• Masters or PhD in engineering, computer science, or a related technical field preferred
