About Our Client
Our client is a globally recognized food and beverage organization with interests in the manufacturing, marketing and distribution of grain-based snack foods, beverages, and other products. They are part of a portfolio of beverage brands that includes carbonated soft drinks, juices, juice drinks, ready to drink teas and coffee drinks, isotonic drinks, bottled water and enhanced waters.

Job Description
The role will be reporting to the Operations Director. The successful applicant will lead the implementation of key strategic projects with partners and ensure compliance to the organizations standards on all manufacturing and quality key criteria’s across franchise partners and ensure sufficient capacity in line with market demands.

• Work with Business Unit (BU) teams to implement BU initiated measurement tools for productivity monitoring, compliance, audit and quality safeguard initiatives/programs.
• Seeks out and implements the organizations best practices with respective partner operating teams to develop programs to deliver frontline execution, driving productivity and continuous improvement/efficiencies.
• Hands on Technical training based on Beverage tools and foods best practice programs aimed at facilitating partner capability building and driving through productivity/compliance/efficiencies in manufacturing/bottling locations.
• Work with Business Units (BU) and relevant local authorities in providing technical advice to facilitate new product registration and meet packaging/regulatory requirements.
• Maintain process platform audits in line with the organizations global best practice. Track manufacturing performance, benchmark and set improvement priorities.

The Successful Applicant
Based in Malaysia, our client is looking for successful a Malaysian candidate who has a minimum of 5 years working experience as a Plant Manager and Lead Manufacturing.
Key requirements:

• The candidate is required to have a at least 8 years experience in manufacturing preferably from the beverage or FMCG industry.
• Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Science.
• Strong Knowledge of manufacturing business processes, quality, cost reporting with sound technical fundamentals in mechanical and electrical systems.
• Good Management and influencing skills
• Exceptional analytical skills.
• Effective communications and collaboration skills with demonstrated ability to work across multiple levels and different organizations functions.

• Strong leadership qualities as the candidate will be coaching and developing his team/others.
