Job Description:
1. General: - Responsible for ensuring that the well is drilled on time and within the buggeted cost. - Coordinates the activities of drilling contractor and all the members for drilling team. He also anticipates problem before they arrise and takes the necessary action to avoid them - Responsible for the overall smooth running of the project and for the implementation of safety policies and procedures. 2. Min requirements and experience in position: - Must be registered in the consulting company and have licenses to work in offshore drilling - Must have been educated at a Petrolium University (Bachelor degree or equivelent or higher) and have other certificates of drilling training course and certification, including a full member of the SPE. - Must be able to design general well drilling programs using geological data and detailed casing, drilling fluid, directioal drilling, cementing, completion, well testing, stimulation, workover programs, which are designed by respective specialists. - Must be able to calculate drill string and casting strengths, cement volume and displacement, kill fluid volume and pumping parameterd according to different methods. - Must have knowleged of drilling equipment and tools such as drill bits, liner hanger, expandable casing, fishing tools... - Must have experience in management and supervisor of drilling, completion, testing, stimulation and workover of oil/fas wells. - Experience of working at the well site (onshore, offshore - Jack-up rig and semisubmersible rig must be at least 10 years. Experience in drilling suppervisor position at least 5 years. Experience in drilling superintendent position at least 3 years.
