 Senior Drilling Engineer required for Norwegian based operator to work on an Exploration semi-submersible drilling program.To start ASAP and for an initial 12 month with view for extension. Scope of Work: Well planning/interface with exploration Application for consent, casing design, AFE, input to discharge permit, drilling program and AFE; Daily follow-up of drilling operations and planning of upcoming operations; Prepare detailed programs/procedures; Vendor follow-up; Roles & Responsibilities: Independently design wells to meet the well objectives, and in accordance with governing regulations and COMPANIES process and procedures; Prepare relevant input to Basis of Design and key planning documents, main drilling programs, drilling programs, D&C park of the PDO's, HAZOP/risk assessments, budget cost estimates, AFE's and final well report; You will have a proven track record working within D&W operations and have a good knowledge of regulations and relevant procedures. You must also have a sound understanding of development and exploration drilling and well completions, HSE and field operations. Upon application, please advise on expected day-rate. | |||
